The Admirable Crichton (1957)

My goal for about a year now is to watch a new (to me) old film at least once a week. We watched The Admirable Crichton (1957) last night and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Excellent high contrast '50s colour, great pacing, witty dialogue, an interesting story, and of course plenty of apparent criticism of the class system.

I'm ashamed to be seen talking to you, my lady.

Red Dwarf fans will also add another dimension to their understanding of why Kryten acts the way he does.
