George R.R. Martin is the man famous for taking 13 years (and counting) to write a sequel. Sadly, I have read all the completed books in A Song of Ice and Fire. Here are reviews of two of them:
A Storm of Swords (Book #3)
By this book in the series I had lost all enthusiasm. Martin's writing is terrible. It's like wading through sour treacle, not even a sweet smell to help you through. The content is hateful and sexist. It's boring. It's a complete drag to read. His style is the opposite of eloquence.
Rating: 1/5
A Feast for Crows (Book #4)
Garbage. Nothing but overly complex descriptions of lavish meals, fashions, and disgusting sexual encounters. If you like meaningless, unrealistic violence, rape, and some of the worst writing, then this is the book for you.

Re: Review of two ASOIF books
Hot take: The books are disgusting because history is disgusting when done right!
Re: Review of two ASOIF books
Except he's writing fantasy, not history! Although he sure plagiarised history for ideas. (If you can plagiarise history?)
